Great Day out at Islay Show

I had a great time at this year's Islay Show.

It was fantastic to speak to so many of my constituents. It was also wonderful to see many local business stalls promoting Islay's dynamic and booming economy. 

Railing repairs welcomed

Great news! I have been informed that the damaged railings at the Carradale Harbor public toilets have been repaired.

This incident was caused by a vehicle delivering items and reversing into the railings.

I had a successful surgery in the Lochindaal Hotel in Port Charlotte where I spoke to local residents about many important local issues. These included street lighting, damaged pavements, potholes, the need for social housing and slow broadband speeds.

Crumbling pavements and broken drains in Port Ellen and Bowmore

I have been out and about visiting my constituents in Port Ellen and Bowmore the past few days and checking up on the progress being made with road and drain repairs.

In Port Ellen, Mansfield Rd and Lennox St desperately need some extensive road works including some resurfacing.
