Amanda was elected to Argyll and Bute Council for the first time in May 2022.

She has been appointed Policy Lead for Care Services and Deputy Policy Lead for Planning and Regulatory Services, and will sit on the Community Services committee, the Policy and Resources committee and the Planning, Protective Services and Licencing committee

Amanda will also sit on Argyll and Bute's Sounding Board, and will be the Children's Champion for Oban, Lorn and the Isles.
