Majority of Scots oppose soft touch justice

The SNP cannot continue to ignore the majority of Scots who oppose their soft touch justice system.

In a recent survey, a majority of people said that the separatist's sentencing policy is too soft.

This is a powerful message to Nicola Sturgeon about her policy to allow 9,000 criminals a year to avoid jail. The Scottish people want the worst criminals to serve appropriate sentences, and they don’t want shorter sentences to be abolished.

The SNP should back Conservative plans to ensure that life means life for the very worst offenders.

Only the Scottish Conservatives will punish criminals and put victims first.
