Daniel was first elected to Argyll and Bute Council in 2022, and represents his hometown of Dunoon.

Daniel was born and raised Dunoon, and has been involved in politics since a young age. He is currently studying a joint master’s degree in Politics & History at the University of Glasgow, although, continues to stay and operate from Dunoon.

Daniel has been involved with the Scottish Conservatives for several years, and has also had other political involvements with organisations such as the United Nations, Young Scot and his local ferry action group.

Daniel is also the Secretary of the Argyll & Bute Scottish Conservative & Unionist Association.

Conservative Councillors Propose 5% Council Tax Plan

Thursday, 27 February, 2025
At today’s Argyll and Bute Council budget meeting, the official opposition group - comprising
Scottish Conservatives and Bute Independent councillors - put forward a fully balanced
budget, headlined by a modest 5% council tax increase, one of the smallest proposed
increases in Scotland.
