Daniel was first elected to Argyll and Bute Council in 2022, representing his hometown of Dunoon. Born and raised in the town, Daniel has long been active in politics and public service.
He currently serves as the Shadow Policy Lead for Climate Change, Renewables & Net Zero and sits on a diverse range of committees. He also chairs the Cowal Transport Forum, bringing together community representatives and stakeholders such as Transport Scotland, SPT, CalMac and Western Ferries to improve local transport provision.
Alongside his council duties, Daniel holds a degree in Politics & History from the University of Glasgow and is involved in local initiatives and organisations such as the Royal Society of Arts.
