BOBBY GOOD

Bobby Good - Councillor for the Dunoon ward of Argyll & Bute Council

I live and work in the Dunoon constituency. I moved to this area a number of years ago, settled and married a local girl.

Dunoon is a beautiful town with lots of history and a huge potential. I find the local people are a very passionate people. They are proud of Argyll but especially proud of their town, and like them, I want the best for Dunoon

I work as a transport manager in Dunoon and I spend my leisure time among the people of Dunoon. I’m immensely proud to be part of a community which is as strong and together as Dunoon is.

Councillors working hard for Argyll & Bute

It was great to catch up with my fellow Conservative Councillors in Kilmory and to hear of the terrific work they have been doing for their constituents and the wider Argyll and Bute area.

Good clean up for Argyll Gardens

I pushed for the council to give the Argyll Gardens a good clean up ahead of the opening of the new Queens Hall and I think you have to agree it looks fantastic today. A wee bit more work on the bandstand and it'll be looking grand for the opening.

Good welcome for new UK citizen

It was a great honour to participate in the Citizenship Ceremony for Yuqing Zhang and I wish her well in her future role as a citizen of the United Kingdom.

Yuqing is better known locally as Carol and has lived in Dunoon for some time.

Thank you

On behalf of all the candidates, and our newly elected group of councillors, Argyll and Bute Conservative and Unionist Association would like to thank all of our members and supporters, who turned out in such great numbers and voted in the local elections last week.

Local elections are about helping your community

The local council elections are about helping your community and who is the best person for the job.

Be sure the candidate you choose is standing for the community and will get on with the day job. Not someone who wants to use your vote as a sign you support Indyref2 #good4dunoon

Get the right people on the council

Remember when choosing the candidates you want to vote for this May that if they get elected they have to be able to work as a team together.

It's vitally important that they are capable of doing this. Division will not be good for this community. Doing the day job is what we need.
