Alec McNeilly

Chairman, Argyll and Bute Conservative and Unionist Association

I have been employed for almost 30 years in Local Government, latterly as Head of Information Technology.

As Head of Information Technology I have gained a very clear insight into the  workings of the Council in particular, and local government in general.

The Scottish Conservative and Unionist  Party  is now very much the party of the people. As Chairman of the Argyll and Bute Association my responsibility is to ensure that Conservative and Unionist councillors and MSPs have all the necessary support to ensure that they can provide the very best for all the people of Argyll and Bute.

I am married to Yvonne and have a daughter Natasha. Yvonne is a Councillor representing the Cowal ward. I live in Dunoon which has been my home for more than 20 years.
