I'm just back from another PPSL meeting where I was delighted that my fellow committee members and I unanimously approved the latest Marine Harvest Scotland development project.
The erection of buildings to form a fish hatchery including formation of access, car parking and associated landscape building will bring both short term and long term high quality employment to Kintyre. As well as cementing Kintyre's place as a contributor in the battle against sea lice.
I have also been speaking at length to the roads and street lighting department about the numerous faulty street lights that have been reported to myself from across my council ward by my rightfully frustrated constituents. While we need reliable street lighting all year round it is particularly important during the Winter months.
As ever I will continue to press our council on this matter and any others my constituents raise.
