Coast Guard and CalMac training exercise

I was delighted to be present for the latest Coast Guard training operation involving the Coast Guard helicopter crew and the crew of Cal Mac ship Finlaggan, on the sailing from Kennacraig to Islay.

A huge thanks to all of our Coast Guard crews, engineers and support staff.

MSP welcome for shinty funding

Highlands and Islands MSP Donald Cameron has celebrated the award of more than £2,000 to an Argyll shinty club by putting a motion to the Scottish Parliament.

Carradale improvements welcomed

While attending my latest surgery in Carradale I was able to check in on the grass verges being cut in East Kintyre. 

After raising this matter with our roads department on numerous occasions it's great to see our hard working roads men getting the job done.
